Las-Vegas & Grand Canyon

As we were planning our trip to Grand Canyon from Las Vegas, we heard about the snow storm in the area: a rare chance to take pictures of Grand Canyon covered in snow!

Las Vegas met us with sunny but chilly weather. After checking in hotel, we decided to take a walk on the Strip

Somewhere in the mall on the Strip...

The Tipsy Robot...

I can see the fountains of Bellagio right from my hotel room!

We got up early to get on the trip...

... two hours later we arrived at the Grand Canyon. The cliffs dressed up in snow look magical!

Kolb Studio Art Gallery sits on the edge of South Rim of the Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon National Park is home to many different birds

I was lucky to see the Grand Canyon dressed up in snow like that

By the time we got back to Las Vegas we got really hungry. For dinner we went to In-N-Out Burger

Most of the pools in hotels on the Strip are outdoor pools, and in February most are closed. Likely for those who enjoy lane swimming, Las Vegas offers other options, all of it outside of the Strip

When in Las Vegas one should see a show or two! This time we saw the Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson ONE and the "O"

The buffets in hotels on the Strip are famous. We went to  Bacchanal Buffet for lunch before heading to the airport

It was a red eye flight on a school night
