Philadelphia & Rehoboth Beach
I took a trip to Northeastern USA on civic holiday (Labor Day weekend in USA)
The flight got delayed but watching Serena Williams at the US Open compensated for it
Finally the flight boarding was announced
It was a short flight, and soon after finishing my dinner I could enjoy the view of downtown Philadelphia
Soon after landing I was checking in Sonesta Philadelphia Downtown Rittenhouse Square Hotel
First things first, being hungry and all, I went to nearby Philly cheese burger joint
Next day after breakfast I went to explore Philly downtown. Lots of history here, as Philadelphia played an instrumental role in the American Revolution as a meeting place for the Founding Fathers of the United States, who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776 at the Second Continental Congress, and the Constitution at the Philadelphia Convention of 1787. Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia means it’s time for the epic Made In America festival! The giant two-day music fest, curated by Jay-Z. The jam-packed lineup features headliners Cardi B and Travis Scott, as well as other huge names like Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, James Blake, Juice WRLD and more. (UWISHUNU Philadelphia)
Italian dinner at Gran Caffe L'Aquila
When walking around Philadelphia you inevitably will run into one of many stunning murals
More of that gelato please!
After breakfast at Tria Cafe Rittenhouse I was on my way driving to the costal town of Rehoboth Beach
The broadwalk is lined with shops and restaurants
After dinner at The Blue Hen I took a stroll around.
Next morning: lobster roll at Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls
Strolling the broadwalk...
Dinner at Henlopen City Oyster House
Driving to the airport
Watching the planes while waiting for boarding
